The history of the pastry family business starts two centuries ago in Enschede when Lambertus Kwekkeboom was born in 1832. What has not changed much in all those years are the honest products of Kwekkeboom.

These are still old-fashioned tasty and are often still made according to the old recipe book. Honest raw materials such as real butter, flour, sugar, eggs, whipped cream, pure almond marzipan, almond paste, and fresh fruits are used as a basis for all products.
